Some people turn towards spirituality during old age, as they start to remember God while others seeking healing and resolve problems of life. Finally, there are those who remain inclined towards God from birth to death, completely absorbed in worldly pursuits. Spirituality at different age stages One important point to note is that the earlier the spirituality enters our lives, the purer our interest and sincerity tend to be. How to do Trataka Meditation and what are spiritual benefits of Tratak Yog

Trataka Meditation (Tratak)

Trataka Meditation

Trataka Yog is one of the most effective type of meditation method. It comes from the ancient Hindu Sadhnas. Actually, trataka Kriya is only a single part of sadhnas. Sadhna actually contains multiple procedures like aasan, neti, yoga, kriya, tratak yog, poojan, mantra jap, tratak kriya, havan etc. You may have read some old books on trataka for the benefits of trataka. But still there are some confusions related to trataka. Then you are at the correct place. Here you will know everything about the Trataka Meditation.

Tratak kriya is done by focusing your eyes on a single object. The longer and more efficiently you do it, the more you will achieve success. For your eyes to be stable you firstly need a stable mind. If you don't have that, don't worry, you will slowly start developing stability of mind while practising trataka. This is a vice versa theory. Eyes to mind and mind to eyes. This could also be called as a Trataka yoga exercise for eyes in Spiritualism.

Trataka and Hypnotism

It must be understood that tratak yog is a part of sadhna and not a complete sadhna in itself. But in case of hypnotism, it is complete in achieving the hypnotism power in your eyes. It develops fire in your eyes in which everyone will get influenced. You just have to look into the eyes of the person and he will start acting according to your will. This is the power of your eyes. Which you have to develop with very much hard work. You must be little patient and consistent.

For peace also, It helps us to attain first objective of the meditation that is Having a stable mind which helps to get rid of unwanted thoughts, which lead us to depression. Getting deep sleep. These are some of the trataka benefits that are visible in real world. Basically, by trataka yog we control our eyes, and as we daily see that eyes are as much unstable as our mind is. Simply mind and eyes could be seen as connected. Controlling on definitely controls the other automatically.

2. Spiritual world benefits of tratak yog

Trataka kriya gives our eyes power which is beyond our imagination. When our eyes became powerful through trataka, we will be able to see in the other world also. We can see spirits, ghosts, jinn etc. We get so strong attraction in our eyes that we can attract nearly everyone and also the other beings like animals also. No one dares to look into our eyes then.

Tratak can be performed on various levels. Different type of tratak have different benefits mentioned below:

Types of Trataka yog

1.Inner Trataka Kriya
2.Middle Trataka Kriya
3. Outer Trataka Kruya

1. Inner Trataka Kriya - Trataka Meditation

By inner trataka kriya you get the power of looking in anyone's mind. We can easily know what the person is thinking by just looking in his eyes. We start looking at the past and future of anyone. In inner tratak, we have to close our eyes and concentrate on our agya chakra. Initially it has to be done for 5 minutes and with time this time has to be increased to 30 minutes to get its complete benefits. It provides us with strong will power, strong meditation, third eye activation or agya chakra activation, seeing our own spiritual self, Yoga Nidra and even Dev darshan at its final stages.

2. Middle Trataka Kriya - Jyoti Trataka Bindu Trataka

In middle trataka meditation, we have to keep our eyes open and concentrate on some real world object. For starting we use a dot on a white paper. We have to place this paper in front of our eyes and concentrate on it. Slowly the dot starts to disappear, at this stage we have to know that our first step towards success has been achieved. Then we have to move to different levels like concentration on candle or diya flame. In this we have to focus on flame. Its benefits are strong will power, strong meditation, eyes with attraction factor, get intuitions about right and wrong, strong memory power, stable mind etc.

3. Outer Trataka Yog - Surya Tratak Kriya

It is done with open eyes, but we have to concentrate on celestial bodies. Celestial bodies means the objects in the space like moon, sun, planets, stars, asteriods etc. But in case of sun we can only perform trataka in morning and evening time only that is sunrise and sunset only. This is started with firstly looking at a star for some days 15 minutes daily. Then we move on to moon. And then finally to the sun. Personal experience is best on moon. It gives unexpected powers like creativity, strong attraction among people, strong memory power, control over our anger, get a solution to every problem and also we feel that we are not bothered now from how much big problem come in our life. Even we get intuitions of future either in thoughts or dreams. So we can plan an activity according to that.

Powerful Kundalini Chakras

NOTE

At starting, trataka may make our eyes feeling burning. At such a situation we must stop continuing trataka and wash our eyes with cold water.

Ultimately it is overall beneficial for us even in our daily life. So we can practice it daily two times in morning and evening 15 minutes. It will definitely help you.
