A New Beginning to Spiritual Life

New Beginning to Spiritual Life

The meaning of Spirituality is considered to be very complicated. But it is not so. We are all surrounded by the difficulties and problems of every day life. When we try our hard to end struggle with them, we mostly fail. Then we start to find a solution to come out of this daily life struggle. The most effective and the only way to come out of this materialistic struggle that we can find is - Living a Spiritual Life. When we understand it, only then we can understand the real power of Spirituality. Awakening of spirituality in a person depends on ones own efforts.

What is Spirituality

At some point of our life, spirituality attracts us towards itself. Spirituality already resides in us, we just have to identify and encourage it. At some point in life, every one feels a push towards spirituality. This is the time when we can easily move our life from material to spiritual. This may be in the form of attraction towards meditation, sadhna, Kundalini jagran, Chakras in body, Tratak, mantra, yoga sadhna etc and  even a feeling of doing good towards mankind.

The question is that how serious we are about it. Are we making it a part of our life or just ignoring it and living the same confusion filled life as it was earlier. The main motive of Spirituality is to lead the person to live a peaceful life and even attain enlightenment and moksha at the end of his life journey. It could be against materialism but it does not teaches us to totally detain it from our lives.

It teaches us how to make a balance between the spiritual and materialistic lives. And also how to live materialistic life simply and intelligently.

How to start:-

The simplest way to start is to start with Meditation. The power of spirituality resides in the practices, like meditation. It could be understood as the beginning of the spiritual  life. It helps  in both the worlds - spiritual as well as materialistic. It provides us with inner peace, that is mental peace, and also it leads us to solutions in the materialistic world if done properly.

Actual meaning of Spirituality

What is Meditation

To understand the spiritual power of meditation we must have to understand it first and we must have enough practical experience of it, only then we start to get benefits from it. Otherwise doing it wrong will be worth nothing, but even can damage your spiritual body system also. So be careful before starting a spiritual practice like meditation. Lets find out how to actually start doing Meditation:

1) Meditation on Thoughts

Meditation just requires us to sit calmly and see at our thoughts that are moving in our head. We don't have to try to stop them or change them, we just have to see them. After a little practice we will be capable of looking at our thoughts without being affected from them. This will provide us with the inner peace. (This is because- if we notice at our normal life, we got tensed even after a single thought strike our mind. When we realise that we are not the thought, but a spirit who is different from that thought we automatically got restricted to get affected from that thought).

2) Meditation on Breathe

The next step is to Meditate through our breathe. We just have to sit relaxed and focus on the movement of the breathe. We just have to try to increase the depth of the breathe slowly (not instantly). This will increase our consciousness, which itself is a key to attain peace and a command over our life. Also it is beneficial for the health of our body, which is known as Pranayam.

Japa

Japa means to chant. Japa is done by chanting a name or a mantra. Whatever it is, you must know its meaning because this will work from your deep inner self. Japa purifies our mind. It avoids the unnecessary thoughts to come into our mind. It teaches us to be focused on aim. Now this achieved focus can either be used on materialistic goals to be successful in this world, or also we can set this focus on Divine Power, the Ultimate Goal. So in this way it is beneficial in both materialistic as well as spiritual point of view.

It is always suggested and intelligent, to focus on the Divine God. This is so because we know that achieving the highest level of success, possible of the materialistic world, is not going to make us happy forever. We can simply look at the people who already have what we want and also see how much happy they are.

It is not so that we should not achieve anything in this materialistic world. We can achieve materialistic objects for the survival of your body, as our body is also materialistic and it is dependent on some materialistic objects for its survival. But our inner-self, consciousness, our spirit should not be connected with that materialistic achievement, because it doesn't need materialistic things for its survival. It is fulfilled on its own. It have only one task to do, to reach the ultimate divine, by the blessings of which its journey of life and death in materialistic world ends.

This is the basic of spiritual life and key to live a peaceful life. Peace, freedom and happiness is the ultimate goal of everyone's life and helps in a spiritual awakening in ourselves.

अध्यात्मिक जागरूकता। Spiritual Awakening
