Some people turn towards spirituality during old age, as they start to remember God while others seeking healing and resolve problems of life. Finally, there are those who remain inclined towards God from birth to death, completely absorbed in worldly pursuits. Spirituality at different age stages One important point to note is that the earlier the spirituality enters our lives, the purer our interest and sincerity tend to be. 8. Travel in materialistic world without physical body (with Spiritual Body).
9. It helps us to get rid of addictions and habits which we want to get rid of.

The list of benefits of Yog Nidra are countless. We can find it out only if we do it ourselves.

How to do Yoga Nidra?

For doing Yoga Nidra, we just have to follow this simple procedure. The best time to do it is when we are going to sleep in the night or the time when we just wake up from the sleep. This is so because, this is the time when our inner mind (spiritual part of brain) and physical brain (materialistic part of brain) are active near about in the ratio of 50:50. We don’t need to be completely conscious nor even completely unconscious. At such a stage of our mind, we just have to keep our eyes closed. Keep every part of the body relaxed. Mind should be maintained at a stage mentioned above in the ratio of 50:50 conscious and unconscious. It means, we don’t have to let us go to complete sleep (unconsciousness) or get awake completely (consciousness). We just have to practice to maintain this state of mind. The more we master it, the more easily we go in Yog Nidra.

What happens in Yoga Nidra

When we master this state, we got complete control over our spiritual body. At this point of time, we can sleep in a deep state (completely relaxed, which is also a cure for insomnia) or we can perform travelling in either worlds with our spiritual body. The key is that our spiritual body just have to be in control of ourselves. It actually makes us learn that how we can keep control over all the states of our mind that is conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind. When we master all these states we can keep  ourselves completely awake (in day) and also we can enjoy deep state of sleep (in night). The routine achieved with Yog Nidra automatically heals a lot of diseases and makes us healthy and fit.

Travelling in Yog Nidra Meditation

We can also travel with Yog Nidra. Yog Nidra makes us capable of leaving our materialistic body. Then with the help of our Spiritual body we can travel to different places of this world and also of some other spiritual worlds. When you perform the activity stated above and when you master it, you will feel that you are outside of your body. You will find that you can travel here and there. Also you will be capable of looking at your materialistic body which is asleep. When this happens then we understand the real truth of this life. That we are not this body. We are something different from this materialistic body. This is when your complete life changes. Your perception towards looking at things changes. Now you didn't run after the materialistic things and money, but move your life towards a direction that is worth living and spiritual growth.

Remember, when you are outside of your materialistic body, you will still be connected to it. You can go to different places and get the information which you want. Now you will be looking at this world from a different dimension. Which is the real face of this world what you are looking now. The simple way to come back to your body is just try to get your complete consciousness back and you will find that you are inside your materialistic body. But you will have to try harder to get the state mentioned above, of half consciousness and half unconsciousness.

Tratak sadhana, it's benefits and how to do it

Attain Siddhi through Yog Nidra

Finally, till this stage, when we are capable of completely controlling our spiritual body, we have to make it stable at a single point and meditate. Meditate, not to see something outside the body, but to see inside ourselves. This is same as we normally do with our physical body - to see objects that are not a part of our body. Now we are trying to see inside our physical body, to see our spiritual form, that is our soul, our real self. This is the place where we find the truth, the enlightenment, and finally siddhi. We get complete control over endless desires. Our perspective to see the world completely changes. We live which is completely different from our earlier life. Now after looking at the ultimate truth of this universe and understanding it deeply, now we are capable of keeping our mind in a super stable state. We start to feel and observe the existence of the God everywhere. Now we didn't feel tense about the daily life stress and problems, but we deal it with different as well as well strong perspective. This is the ultimate stage of spirituality that is called the enlightenment.
