The Path to Spiritual Awareness: Transforming Life Through Consciousness

The Path to Spiritual Awareness: Transforming Life Through Consciousness Spiritual awakening and awareness can begin at any stage of life. Each person’s journey is unique, yet many aspects remain universal across all experiences. You may have noticed that some children develop an interest in God and devotion at a very early age. Others may discover this inclination during their youth, although they are fewer in number. Some people turn towards spirituality during old age, as they start to remember God while others seeking healing and resolve problems of life. Finally, there are those who remain inclined towards God from birth to death, completely absorbed in worldly pursuits. Spirituality at different age stages One important point to note is that the earlier the spirituality enters our lives, the purer our interest and sincerity tend to be. Spiritual Happiness-The Permanent happiness

Spirituality -The Permanent Happiness

Meaning of Permanent Happiness

Happiness is the feeling that arises in us when we get what we want. Right!!!

But why we are not always happy. We try hard to be happy but we know we are not. The answer to this question is simply answered in Spirituality.

Spiritual happiness vs happiness

We are all filled with desires. The desires of materialistic things. If we get those things we become happy and if we not, then we became angry and sad. The important fact to think about at this point is, if we get what we want, can always keep us happy or is it just temporary.  Obviously, it is temporary. We can think of anything that we desired at some point of time and even got it some time earlier in our life, we became very happy when we got that but we are not still happy for that achievement, Right!

So what to do???

Try to understand a simple fact, we all want to get rid of sadness, and we all are sad. Why is it so? Have we ever got time to think upon it?

Answer to this is that, we are always looking for the happiness. We always desired of the things (materialistic things) by getting which, we become happy. This is also true that whatever we think never  really happened. This is the reason for our sadness.

In simple words, we desire for happiness is the reason why we are sad.

Spiritual happiness- The Permanent happiness forever

In spirituality, the concept is same, but the way to deal with it, is totally different. Spirituality teaches us we should not be bonded with neither the sadness nor the happiness. We should be free from both of them. We desire for happiness is the key of our sadness. So we must make ourself free from the desire of happiness. We should keep ourself stable in every situation, that is in sadness and even in happiness of this materialistic world. We must be aware of the fact that everyone and everything in this materialistic world is temporary, so why should we run after that.

It doesn't means we should not get materialistic things. Our body is also materialistic, so it is somehow dependent on other materialistic things in this world. We can provide that things to our body for its use. So our body gets what it needs, not what it wants.

Think of your body as a machine, suppose a car. Our car needs fuel so that it can move. Does it become happy on getting fuel or it does its duty, to transport. It does its duty. Same is with our body. We must provide to our body whatever is necessary for our body, like food, cloth, shelter etc.

At the same time, keep in mind that you are not the body. You just got this body to perform your duties in this materialistic world. So why to indulge ourself in temporary luxury of this materialistic world.

You may be rich, you may be poor, just focus on your duties. There is no need to waste your time thinking to get some materialistic things and even becoming sad when not getting that. Remember what you want by becoming rich, is not making people happy who already have it.

Conclusion

In simple words, Spirituality teaches us to be free from the sadness and even the happiness of this materialistic world.

Bhagvadgeeta on happiness

It is written in Shrimadbhagvad Geeta,

The person who is free from anger and desires, who does not get affected in situations of happiness and sadness, who have a stable and calm mind,

is a Siddh....

Trataka Meditation (Tratak) Trataka Meditation Trataka Yog is one of the most effective type of meditation method. It comes from the ancient Hindu Sadhnas. Actually, trataka Kriya is only a single part of sadhnas. Sadhna actually contains multiple procedures like aasan, neti, yoga, kriya, tratak yog, poojan, mantra jap, tratak kriya, havan etc. You may have read some old books on trataka for the benefits of trataka. But still there are some confusions related to trataka. Then you are at the correct place. Here you will know everything about the Trataka Meditation.
