Spiritual Charity - दान का महत्व हिन्दू शास्त्रों में दान का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान बताया गया है। दान की क्रिया का महत्व कई विधि-विधानों में आवश्यक बताया गया है। जैसे कि पित्र-शान्ति, सत्कर्म इत्यादि। दान को पुण्य करने का एक सरल साधन बताया गया है। दान दूारा मनुष्य अपने जीवन में किए पाप-कर्मों को नष्ट करने का प्रयत्न करता है ताकि मृत्योपरान्त उसे नर्क न जाना पडे. यह सब एक विश्वास है। हमें कुछ भी करने से पहले उस कार्य की सही विधी, उस कार्य में निहित भाव और उससे होने वाले परिणाम के विषय में पहले जान लेना चाहिए। तभी हम उस कार्य को सही ढंग से कर पांएगे। यही नीति दान पर भी लागू करनी चाहिए। दान का वास्तविक अर्थ दान का अर्थ जो हमारा आज का समाज समझता है, वो वास्तविकता नही है। दान का अर्थ समाज द्वारा समझा जाता है किसी पर एहसान करके उसे कुछ वस्तु या धन दे देना। यह कर के वे समझते है उनके पुण्य कर्मों में बढोतरी हो रही है, जोकि पूर्ण रूप से मूर्खता है। दान में एक भाव निहित होना आवश्यक है जिसके बिना वो दान नही केवल एक सौदा मात्र होगा क्योंकि उसमे हमारा कुछ स्वार्थ निहित होगा ही। जैसे कि दुनि...
