The Path to Spiritual Awareness: Transforming Life Through Consciousness

The Path to Spiritual Awareness: Transforming Life Through Consciousness Spiritual awakening and awareness can begin at any stage of life. Each person’s journey is unique, yet many aspects remain universal across all experiences. You may have noticed that some children develop an interest in God and devotion at a very early age. Others may discover this inclination during their youth, although they are fewer in number. Some people turn towards spirituality during old age, as they start to remember God while others seeking healing and resolve problems of life. Finally, there are those who remain inclined towards God from birth to death, completely absorbed in worldly pursuits. Qualities of a Spiritual Guide

A Spiritual Guide

A Spiritual guide is one who have a lot of experience of life's various problems, situations and must have a deep understanding about the same and have a clear perspective on Spiritual grounds so that he could come to a solution to the problematic situation. If not even providing a solution, he is capable of clear understanding and vision of the situation of the affected person, so that he could himself deal with it.

Situations I am talking about, must have something common that have similarities with every individual person's life and experience. It means every one can relate his guidance to one's own life experiences (with an idea, may not be same completely). For this it is essential for the Spiritual guide to have some qualities, so that he can do this.

Qualities in a Spiritual Guide

Some of the basic qualities of a Spiritual Guide are the same which are also essential for everyone to life a better life. But most of us fail to acquire those qualities.

Basic qualities, must for a Spiritual Guide

1. Leadership:

Good Leadership quality is one of the basic quality in a spiritual guide. A spiritual guide will be followed by a large number of spiritual students, so good leadership skills will help him manage them.

2. Patience:

Patience is an essential quality which will help the spiritual guide while dealing with every student of spiritual field. Every student will be having a lot of queries and doubts, especially in spiritual field. So to handle their curiosity, a Spiritual guide should be having good patience to deal with students effectively.

3. Perspective:

A Spiritual guide must have a clear perception of the life and the issues of life. This is so because a person is capable to give the solution of some problem, only if he have the complete facts about it. The facts will be obtained with the experience of one's own life, but a quality of perception should also be working with the experiences of life. Then only the Spiritual guide will be capable of giving a clear vision about life and its problems to his students.

4. Less knowledge but high wisdom will do:

Suppose if a Spiritual guide has less knowledge about something, then also he is capable to become a Spiritual guide. Why is it so? Think deeply, to know about some materialistic topic we can find a specialist of that topic easily. But a spiritual guide is very different from all the other teachers. Spiritual guide has to deal with real life issues and also with something which is away from the reach of a normal human's eye and thoughts.

So above mentioned 4 qualities will be more essential. But he must have done spiritual readings and practices, not only to increase his knowledge, but to sharpen the same 3 skills, which everyone of us should also do to make our life easier and happier.
